We have created OH ! Editions in 2002 in order to publish books close to our hearts with a great hold over our times. Books that denounce and disclose terrible and tragic or beautiful and happy realities of the society we are living in.

We have published many testimonies of fighting women, such as Mutilée (“Mutilated”), that denounces excision, Brûlée vive (“Burned alive”) about the crimes of honour against women, or Mariée de force (“Married by force”) about forced marriages in France. We have also published great narratives too, such as Si loin du monde (“So far from the world”) by Tavae – the Tahitian fisherman who had disappeared at sea for four months , or Sky by Patrick Chauvel, about the friendship between a French photographer and an Apache scout during the Vietnam War.

We deliberately only publish few books a year, because we want to serve our authors and their writings the best we can.

Over the last 5 years, out of 31 titles publish, 24 have been ranked in the bestsellers lists and 18 have been largely translated into foreign languages.

“Burned Alive”, for instance, was translated into 31 languages.

The books we choose to publish are most popular ones. Almost all of them appeared on bestsellers lists and the three quarters of them were translated into foreign languages.

OH ! Editions is directed by Philippe Robinet, Bernard Fixot and Edith Leblond.
